Pack up your troubles get your old grin back, don’t worry ’bout the cavalry.

hello every birdies!
today sure is a weird day. i seem to be in a good mood for the whole day. hahaha.
this week was quite slack. if only every week is like this. i'll have plenty of time to study. or read. (i finished my book! really like the part when the guy asked her how she knew what was going to happen and she was like "well, when i said i was praying for you, what did you think i was praying for?" damn sweet. hahahaha.) chapel was quite interesting today. for the once time since i entered SA, i sang during chapel! hahaha. partly because i was in the front row and the teacher kind of kept making eye contact with me.
had a very interesting conversation with clara and valerie today about religions. i guess the book and today's chapel made me think about some stuff that i've been thinking ever since i had entered this school. anyway, the conversation was quite interesting and its something different from the usual stuff that we talk about.
there were very little people around for pe today cause i think practically half the class ponned but it was fun cause the people who were around are those that i usually hang out with (minus julia). hahaha. mr khoo told us a "little story" about how this girl who was super stressed out shouted "WTF WHY MUST WE DO THIS, I DON'T WANT TO JUMP" at him when he asked her to practice standing broad jump.
MK: ... then she shouted "WHAT THE F, you all know what "f" stands for right, WHY MUST WE DO THIS....
hahahaha he's damn funny.

omg i don't dare to tell my parents about the U i got for econs D:!!!
seriously, i don't think i've ever done so badly for maths before. i just broke my own record. the record before this was 39/100 for Amaths MYE during sec 4 (yes, i was still scoring F9 for my amaths 2 exams before O levels!). omg. i am one dead piece of meat. dead meat.
but records are meant to be broken right? HAHAHA OKAY I WAS JUST TRYING TO CONSOLE MYSELF.

and no, lao kan, that is still 2 lines!
take a look at it yourself ----> http://lame-yellow-tofu.blogspot.com/
hahahaha.

reading -'s post on part blog makes me realise how meaningless and redundant my blogposts are. hahaha. (GET BETTER SOON "rihanna" hahahahahaha.)
okay whatever.
but i really agree with what she said,
"I know it may seem that I've lots of friends, very sociable, friendly wtv but if I've been taking a step back recently and just really count with my own fingers, who my real friends are. What makes me nothing more than a friend collector?"
"We're all still on the roads of discovering ourselves. I believe I'm one of the unfortunate ones who's having a hard time doing that hahaha. But one day, when all of us are mature enough to sit around with each other and talk about past things, we can still look back to our 'old days' and reminiscence fondly. Meanwhile, I just want to give everyone strength to face life with adversity and be prepared for all the worldly challenges ahead :) "
my favourite 2 parts.

the second one reminds me of what tbs said the other time, that it is true JC is a time that you'll find yourself and thus your JC friends are those that will be with you for the rest of your life, not your primary school friends, secondary school friends nor your army buddies etc.
hmmmm. this made me think quite a lot. hmmmm.

coupled with what i read on another friend's blog...
"when we were in primary school, we found friends – as playmates.
in secondary school, we found friends – we matured and discovered life together.
in junior college, we found friends – we mugged our hearts out and made the most out of our 2 years.
in university, what kinds will we find?
will there ever be a friend, who can be a perfect substitute for all others?
as we matured, we didn’t have a need for playmates.
as we mugged, we couldn’t find time for life.
how many of these friends will gradually drift apart?
how many will be there with you until you’re old and wrinkled?
when will we ever find that perfect friend, who will never neglect, never forget and will always forgive?
is it even possible".
hmmm.

we came into this world alone and we're going to leave this world alone too.
we may meet different people at different stages of our lives but would there be anyone that you met that both of you would want to continue to stay and continue to play a significant part of each other's life, even if you have gone past that stage of life where you first met?
just like what the guy said this morning during chapel, your friends may say that they would die for you and stuff, but would they actually do it?
even though i'd do many things for my friends, i don't think i'd die for them.

all these thoughts are kind of linked to the future.
should we worry so much about the future?
even if there may not even be a "future" to speak of.
so much uncertainties.

"It’s like there’s this person that you want to be for other people… To make them happy and make them proud of you. And then there’s yourself. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell where one ends and the other begins."
